Wine Critic Review- "Like the nose, cherry is the dominant flavor in this wine. It’s not a dark almost burnt cherry like some Cabernet, nor is it a sweet light cherry like a New World Pinot Noir, either. It’s a middle of the road cherry flavor. There was some body, however I wouldn’t call this a big bodied wine. There was just enough body and tannic structure to be quite enjoyable. There was some oak and cedar on the finish, as well. Overall, this is a relatively typical California jammy styled Cabernet, though this one might trend a little on the lighter side. I enjoyed this wine with grilled steak and potatoes. This wine gets a solid 7 in my book.My review- Like the wine critic mentioned above, cherry is the most prevalent flavor in this wine. However I also noticed a strong oak flavor with the cherry. The oak goes with the cherry flavor very well in this wine. Despite the oak and cherry flavor mixture, the tannin taste from this wine is moderate. I also noticed that the wine does not have a very deep flavor, so this wine would not go with any food that has a strong taste. Overall, I really enjoyed this wine and I plan on having it again.
